Privacy-First Design

FitVault is built with privacy at its core. We believe fitness tools should work for you without harvesting your data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (spoiler: almost nothing), how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

FitVault does not require account creation, email addresses, passwords, or any personal information to use the App.

Wallet Address (Public Key) — When you connect your Solana wallet via Mobile Wallet Adapter (MWA), the App receives your public wallet address. This is used solely to verify NFT ownership and process payments. We do not store your wallet address on any server.

On-Device Storage — The App stores your premium access status locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device.

Blockchain Transactions — Payment and NFT minting transactions are recorded on the Solana blockchain, which is a public ledger. Transaction data (wallet addresses, amounts, timestamps) is publicly visible by nature of blockchain technology. We do not control or store this data.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• No names, emails, or personal identifiers.

• No location data or GPS tracking.

• No fitness data, workout logs, or health information.

• No analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party SDKs.

• No advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking.

• No cookies (the App is not web-based).

3. How We Use Information

The only information processed by the App is your public wallet address, used exclusively for:

• NFT Ownership Verification — Checking if your wallet holds a FitVault Pass NFT to unlock premium content.

• Payment Processing — Facilitating SOL or SKR token transfers to the treasury wallet for NFT minting.

This processing happens entirely on-device and on-chain. No data is transmitted to FitVault servers because we do not operate any servers that collect user data.

4. Third-Party Services

FitVault interacts with the following third-party services:

• Solana RPC Nodes — To query blockchain state and submit transactions. Your wallet address is visible to the RPC provider during requests.

• CoinGecko API — To fetch current SOL and SKR token prices for payment calculation. No user data is sent to CoinGecko.

• Arweave/Irys — NFT metadata and images are stored on Arweave. This content is publicly accessible and permanent.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party services.

5. Data Storage & Security

All user preferences (premium status, theme selection) are stored locally on your device via AsyncStorage. We have no backend servers, databases, or cloud storage that hold user data. Your wallet's private keys are never accessed, requested, or stored by FitVault — all signing happens through Mobile Wallet Adapter in your wallet app.

6. Children's Privacy

FitVault does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App requires a Solana wallet to access premium features, which typically requires users to be of legal age in their jurisdiction.

7. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. Your on-device data can be cleared at any time through your device's Settings → Apps → FitVault → Clear Data. Your NFT and blockchain transactions are immutable and cannot be deleted from the blockchain.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
